The Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) is a leading non-profit organization dedicated to helping women-owned businesses thrive.

Founded in 1997, WBENC developed a nationwide standard for women-owned business certification. The organization is the largest certifier of women-owned businesses in the U.S. and a leading advocate for women entrepreneurs.

WBENC believes diversity promotes innovation, opens doors, and creates partnerships that fuel the economy. That’s why we not only provide the most relied upon certification standard for women-owned businesses, but we also offer the tools to help them succeed.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit, WBENC partners with 14 Regional Partner Organizations to provide its world-class standard of certification to women-owned businesses throughout the country, and offers programming and resources to help women-owned businesses thrive.

Miranda Richter

Meet Miranda Richter, an accomplished construction professional renowned for her expertise in strategic thinking, collaboration, and communication. Miranda is a Penn State graduate with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a natural leader and team builder. Having established herself as an expert in the construction industry, Miranda has a unique ability to identify and solve complex problems while delivering outstanding results. With a keen focus on providing exceptional customer service, she measures success by her clients’ satisfaction.

Driven by a vision to create a successful company that stands out in the industry, Miranda founded Merit Project Solutions. Her passion for excellence has enabled her to lead and build a team of experts who share her values and commitment to quality. With an unwavering commitment to providing top-notch construction solutions, Miranda has gained a reputation for delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. She is a trusted partner to her clients, and her exceptional communication skills ensure that every project is delivered to the client’s exact specifications. She is a natural leader, team builder, and strategic thinker who is dedicated to achieving her clients’ goals and objectives.

Miranda lives in Bucks County with her husband and two daughters. When she’s not busy leading her team, Miranda enjoys spending time with her family and being involved in her daughters’ sports activities. In the winter, she loves hitting the slopes and skiing with her family. Miranda’s dedication to both her professional and personal life is a testament to her ability to balance priorities and achieve success in all aspects of her life
